Spring Term

This term, the children have expressed an interest in learning about animals. After a Class discussion, we decided to find out about the cat family. We made potato cats, some resembling pets while others where leopards or lions. We spent a long time adding important features and making accessories. They designated the book corner as the cat crèche and put them there when they couldn’t look after them. One child made a baby monitor. This came in handy during breaks, the office staff were very happy to keep the monitor in case the potato cats needed help. It was wonderful to see the children take such great care of their creatures. What a lovely day!

Mini Tate

Welcome to our art gallery. We’ve been exploring drawing using charcoal sticks. It was messy but we really thought about the lines we could see. We smudged some the charcoal and thought about how it changed our drawing.
