Vision & Values

Welcome to Radwinter CofE (VA) Primary School, a Church of England Voluntary Aided School dedicated to nurturing every child in a caring, happy, and secure environment. Our vision and values are the heart of all we do, guiding our community as we grow and learn together to embrace life in all its fullness.

Our theologically rooted Vision:

Growing and Learning Together to Embrace Life in All Its Fullness

Inspired by John 10:10 — “I came to give life – Life in all its fullness” — our vision reflects a Christian understanding that God's love is for everyone. We recognise that every child is unique, with individual talents, needs, and a valuable contribution to make.

Our deeply Christian vision inspires our service to God and our community by ensuring the voices of all our school community are heard and serving the common good together. By empowering our children with transferable knowledge and skills, we are helping them grow in preparation for future success in an ever-changing world and ensuring they can embrace life in all its fullness both independently and collaboratively.

Prayer for the Vision

Loving God,
As we strive to grow and learn together, help us to embrace life in all its fullness. May our school be a place where every child feels valued and inspired to flourish. Guide us in our journey of discovery, compassion, and unity as we seek to reflect your love in our community. Amen.

At Radwinter CofE (VA) Primary School, we are committed to:

  • Providing a broad, balanced, and challenging curriculum where every child is seen as a unique learner, making exceptional progress from their starting points.
  • Offering a wide range of memorable learning experiences, both inside and beyond the classroom, that inspire a sense of awe and wonder for the world around us.
  • Fostering spiritual growth through daily collective worship and strong links with our local Church community, enabling children to develop their own values, beliefs, and appreciation of cultural diversity.
  • Ensuring the wellbeing and happiness of every child are at the core of our work, with committed, caring, and approachable staff acting as role models who educate for wisdom, hope, community, and dignity.
  • Listening to the voices of all members of our school community — children, families, staff, governors, and wider stakeholders — to serve the common good and meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Our Vision: Growing and Learning Together to Embrace Life in All Its Fullness

Our Christian vision is lived out by a set of core values that are at the heart of our school, are rooted in the teachings of Jesus and underpin everything we do. These values underpin our whole ethos, curriculum and school life and aim to ensure our pupils leave Radwinter as happy, caring and responsible citizens. The values we promote are important within the school community and are values which will be important throughout life. In all that we do we strive to share, encourage and demonstrate positive values with our children, in order that they understand them and strive to live by them. By instilling these values in our children, they are able to embrace life in all its fullness looking upwards, outwards and inwards drawing on these values to guide them.
