Educational Visits and Visitors

Our curriculum is supplemented by educational visits where appropriate, for example visiting local museums, art galleries, a Hindu Temple.  All visits are valuable in being able to broaden the children’s experiences and their understanding of the topics they are studying.

Sometimes we have educational companies that come into school for the day to bring a subject to life, for example, an Ancient Greek day.  These are equally as memorable and enjoyable for the children and again provide an excellent supplement to their classroom learning.

We are also very lucky to have many visitors that come to Radwinter School to talk about their experiences to the children.  Recently, visitors have included: Paul Cookson, a famous performance poet who did a workshop with each class and an interactive assembly, parents to talk about their faiths as part of faith week or different languages they speak, and members of the Brandenburg Orchestra.
